College GameDay returning to Virginia for second straight season

ESPN College GameDay has become a phenomenon in the world of college sports. College basketball has had the pleasure of having the show since 2004 after the success of the show for college football.

It doesn’t have near as big of a turnout as the football show does, but it’s still pretty cool for fans to be able to get early access to their homecourt for the chance to be seen on national television.

Next week, the show will make its way to Charlottesville for a potential top ten matchup between Virginia and North Carolina. This is the second time the Tar Heels have been the road team for GameDay this year and the tenth time overall.

This game could end up being a matchup for the top spot in the ACC, so it’s only appropriate that the GameDay crew rolls into town.
