A lot of college football players are working out right now and preparing for the upcoming spring workouts. Some of them are pushing themselves to the edge so they can try to win a starting spot.
It looks like one player has pushed himself too far during a workout Monday evening. According to the Associated Press, Buffalo defensive end Solomon Jackson was hospitalized after he collapsed during a conditioning session.
The site also reported that his status is unknown at this point. No update has been given, despite multiple messages being left with Buffalo General Hospital spokesperson Michael Hughes.
The rising junior was credited with eight tackles and 2 sacks during the 2015 season. Campus Sports would like to wish him the best in his recovery.
