Starkville family rents out home, surprised by Tim Tebow autograph

Sometimes, families fall on hard times and they have to find some way to make extra money. One family in Starkville, Mississippi find themselves in that position a few weeks ago.

Joe and Tammy Miles listed their home for rent on Rent Like A Champion, a website that is similar to AirBnB. They never expected for a former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback to visit their home.

They talked about how they came home to find a book left open and autographed on the desk. The book? Tim Tebow’s “Through My Eyes” and it was signed by the quarterback himself.

“I came home and it’s sitting on the table and it just blew my mind that he’d do anything like that,” Austin, their son, said.

The family’s home had been rented out by a group of media personnel for SEC Network the weekend of the Alabama-Mississippi State game last November. They saw the book and wanted Tebow, who is an analyst on SEC Nation.

I understand if you don’t like Tebow now because of you being a fan of a rival school, but this has got to be one of the coolest things I have heard of in a long time.
