Super Bowl MVP Von Miller is set to become a free agent, but the Denver Broncos do not want to let him get away.
In fact, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the team is very optimistic that they will be able to get a long-term deal done with the former first-round pick.
Per Rapoport, the Broncos are “poised to push” for a mega long-term deal.

Not only would the deal lock in Von Miller for the future, it would also give the Broncos flexibility regarding quarterback Brock Osweiler.
If #Broncos can strike a deal for SB MVP Von Miller, now feasible, it opens up all options for Brock Osweiler. Hope is a long-term deal

While there are few details on what a “mega long-term” deal would be, Rapoport says that it would make Miller the highest paid defensive player in football. In that case, everyone wins.
