Joey Bosa: I’m the best player in the draft

There’s no questioning that former Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa is one of the best players in the 2016 NFL Draft. He seems pretty confident about his abilities and he showed that during a press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday.

He talked about how he believes he is the best player in the 2016 NFL Draft. He said that he is certainly worthy of the top pick if the Tennessee Titans decided to go defense instead of drafting protection for Marcus Mariota.

I do, I do believe I’m the best player in the draft,” Bosa said. “As a top player, if you don’t believe that, there’s something wrong. … I think (I’m) the best pass rusher, the best defensive lineman in the country.”

Bosa was also asked about his off-field troubles. He was suspended for the first game of the 2015 college football season after testing positive for marijuana.

“I’ll discuss that with the teams. I’m sure it’ll be a little uncomfortable, but I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do,” Bosa said of the suspension.

Bosa had a terrific career with the Buckeyes, recording 51 tackles for loss and 26 sacks.
