Just a few weeks ago, word came out that former WWE and WCW superstar Bret Hart had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was a pretty devastating bit of news for wrestling fans everywhere, but things took a turn for the absolute awesome on Tuesday.
Former WWE play-by-play commentator Jim Ross joined “The Gunz Show” on Tuesday and said that he had been in contact with Hart. He said doctors had removed Hart’s prostate, thus getting rid of the cancer and making it a “non-issue.”
“They removed the cancer by removing his prostate,” Ross said. “His cancer is a non-issue now, thank god. All issues are resolved and addressed… So that’s the good news about Bret Hart.”
This is certainly good news for everyone that is a wrestling fan, both young and old. After the loss of Dusty Rhodes and Roddy Piper last year, I don’t know how much more bad news we could take.
