The Louisville Cardinals were looking like one of the best teams in the country before they announced a self-imposed postseason ban for this year. That was a pretty disheartening message for graduate transfers Damion Lee and Trey Lewis, who came in this year to play their final season of eligibility under Rick Pitino.
They were pretty devastated by the news, but they were still determined to help the team finish year on a high note. On Tuesday, the team hosted Georgia Tech for Senior Night and Pitino presented the two with championship-style rings which looked pretty great.

The Cardinals even did something special for the seniors at halftime. They brought in painter David Garibaldi who made an awesome portrait of Lee and Lewis, which you can watch in the video below.
It has been a tough ride for Lee and Lewis and they certainly deserved more than what they got this year. Despite not being able to play for a national championship, which they very well could have won, it is still cool what the team has done for them.
