Video: Indiana goes crazy in locker room after winning Big Ten title

The Indiana Hoosiers hadn’t won the Big Ten regular season conference championship since 2013, but Tuesday night, they were officially back on top of the conference. They defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes to clinch the outright Big Ten regular season championship.

It was an emotional victory for the Hoosiers and they certainly let head coach Tom Crean know about their excitement. The team didn’t want to celebrate until he got back to the locker room and when Crean entered, they certainly let him have it.

The Hoosiers have had a pretty amazing season this year as they were picked to only finish fourth in the conference behind Maryland, Michigan State, and Michigan at the beginning of the year. They will now set their eyes on their first Big Ten tournament championship in school history.

The tournament is set to begin on March 9 and run through March 13. The Hoosiers will play in the quarterfinals on March 11 at 12 p.m. EST.
