Draymond Green shouts out Bryn Forbes on Twitter

Michigan State guard Bryn Forbes had a career showing against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wednesday night as he set a Big Ten record with 11 three-pointers in the 97-66 victory.

Following the game, a former Spartan star took to Twitter to give Forbes a shout out. Golden State Warriors Draymond Green talked about how NBA teams would be stupid to pass up on a player like him.

Green made a reference to Forbes possibly being seen as “too small” because that was what scouts labeled him as when he came into the league. I think knows a little something about having success in the NBA.

Forbes has had one heck of a season for the Spartans this year as he is shooting 50 percent from behind the three-point line and averaging 14.6 points per game. If he continues this performance and helps his team well into the NCAA Tournament, there’s no way teams could ignore him when it comes to the Draft in June.
