Duke wishes 5-star signee Jayson Tatum happy birthday on Twitter

The Duke Blue Devils are looking to, once again, have one of the best recruiting classes in the country when it comes to the 2016-17 season. They have already locked down five-star players Harry Giles Jr. and Jayson Tatum for next season and they decided to do something special for the latter on Thursday.

Tatum turned 18 on Thursday, which is a pretty big milestone for anyone to reach. The Blue Devils took to Twitter to wish him a happy birthday in one of the coolest gestures you will see today.

It’s not every day that a premiere basketball team like the Blue Devils gives you a shoutout on Twitter. I’m sure that many Dukies are eagerly awaiting his arrival for the 2016-17 season.

They ought to be excited when you look at what you could have playing at Cameron Indoor next season. Frank Jackson and Javin DeLaurier join Giles and Tatum and Derryck Thornton, Luke Kennard, and Matt Jones will all likely be back next year.

If Amile Jefferson, who has missed majority of the season with a broken foot, and Grayson Allen decide to return to school, the Blue Devils will be one of the scariest teams in the country next November.
