If you don’t think high school basketball games can be exciting, you need to check this story out. Minnesota high schools Waseca and Marshall did battle in the 2AAA section title game Thursday night to determine who would play for the state championship.
It was a crazy back-and-forth game between the two schools and things eventually went to overtime. The first overtime came after a Marshall player hit a three-point buzzer beater to tie the game.
The teams battled with each other and they eventually ended up in a third overtime. Waseca’s Nick Dufault exacted a bit of his own revenge on Marshall as he hit a buzzer-beating full-court three-point shot to send the game to a fourth overtime.

It looked like the game could be extended for another overtime before another Waseca player stuck a knife in the heart of Marshall. Cole Streich hit a buzzer-beating shot, the third in the game, to give his team the win and a spot in the state championship.

Now that is what I call a genuine reaction to a team winning a big-time playoff game.
