Texas Tech’s Toddrick Gotcher proposes to girlfriend after game

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are going to need a good bit of help to get into the NCAA Tournament this year and it may take them winning the Big 12 tournament to punch their ticket to the Big Dance. They played their regular season finale against Kansas State on Saturday and they had plenty of reason to celebrate.

The Raiders won 80-71 to clinch the seventh spot in the conference. However, it was what happened after the game that may be the biggest story as Toddrick Gotcher proposed to his girlfriend, Kelly McQuaid, with the help of his teammates.

This is certainly a memorable way to ask the most important question of your life. It has been an up-and-down season for the Raiders, but no matter what happens next week, they will have this moment to remember for the next year.

What’s even better is that Gotcher had a good showing in the game. He recorded 13 points and six rebounds in the game.

Not a bad afternoon if you ask me.
