Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman and wife, Chelsea, reveal their baby's gender in the only a pro baseball player should ever do it.

Video: Freddie Freeman’s baby gender reveal is awesome

The Atlanta Braves have themselves a pretty special player in first baseman Freddie Freeman. While the team was on a break between spring training games in Florida, Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, took the opportunity to reveal their future child’s gender to not only their friends and family, but themselves as well.

Freeman, who is easily the Braves’ best player and one of the best hitters in the MLB, took a bat and crushed an exploding ball pitched to him by Chelsea. She posted the video to her Twitter and revealed that they are having a boy.

It's a……!!!!
(We have no idea until that ball exploded!!)

I have seen some unique gender reveals in my lifetime, but this has got to be the coolest one yet. I think all couples from now on have something to live up to.

At least Braves’ fans can take solace in knowing that they could be having Freddie Freeman Jr. coming their way in about 18 years.

Congratulations Freddie and Chelsea, from the entire Campus Sports family!
