Lee Corso names Oregon as favorite College GameDay spot

College GameDay is one of the most popular things about Saturdays during college football season. One of the main reasons people love to tune into the show is ESPN analyst Lee Corso and his crazy mascot headgear antics.

Corso has traveled across the country to some of the most iconic college football spots. On Wednesday, he spoke with 247Sports and named Eugene, Oregon as his favorite spot to visit.

Eugene, Oregon,” Corso told the hosts of 105.5′s The Opening Kickoff last week in Mobile, Alabama. “The reason is, the show is on at 6 o’clock in the morning. That means students are up all night long. They’ve got great enthusiasm and the Duck is my favorite (mascot). That’s my favorite place, for me personally, to see a ballgame.”

The Oregon students have to be have out at the spot for the show at 6 a.m. as the show begins at 9 a.m. EST. So you know they have to be pretty dedicated to the Ducks.

Lee Corso and the GameDay crew have been on site for nine Oregon games, most recently for a matchup against the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing last season. He picked the Ducks to win and they went to get the 46-27 victory.

Yeah, he looks pretty good as Puddles.
