The Clemson Tigers saw a resurgence on the basketball court this season as they fell just short of making the NCAA Tournament. One reason for their success was leading-scorer Jaron Blossomgame and he is considering leaving school for the NBA.
According to multiple reports, Blossomgame has filed paperwork to enter the NBA Draft this year. He has yet to sign an agent, however, as he has the chance to return to school for the 2016-17 season.
Jaron Blossomgame led the Tigers with 18.7 points per game. He also added on 6.7 points per game, which helped him get named to the All-ACC First Team.
He has until May 25 to withdraw his name from NBA Draft consideration, but is allowed to participate in workouts and the NBA combine. However, he must make his decision whether he wants to enter the Draft or return for his senior season before that date.
The Tigers have a real shot of competing in the ACC next season, especially if Blossomgame returns to school. Will he join K.J. McDaniels in being the second person in three years to leave Clemson early?
