Two former Oregon basketball players sue school over expulsion

The University of Oregon is being sued by former basketball players Dominic Artis and Damyean Dotson.

The players were expelled from the school following an investigation into sexual assault allegations.

Artis and Dotson are suing the school for a reported $10 million, per NBC Sports. According to the lawyer of the players, the investigation into the allegations were “problematic” and the players were “victimized.”

The female student who made the allegations received $800,000 in a settlement from the school.

Both players resumed their playing careers elsewhere, with Artis playing at UTEP and Dotson taking the court at Houston. Both players averaged double-digit points per game this past season.
