Jim Boeheim on Tournament doubters: ‘Know nothing about basketball’

For many college basketball analysts, they were shocked when the Syracuse Orange made the NCAA Tournament. However, the Orange have made shown they were worthy of it and head coach Jim Boeheim has been sure to call out those analysts.

The No. 10 seeded Orange pulled out an upset win over the Dayton Flyers, dominating them in the second half to get the 70-51 victory. After the game, Boeheim spoke his mind and said that anyone who believed they didn’t deserve to be in the tournament doesn’t know basketball.

Jim Boeheim has always been one to speak his mind, so it is no surprise that he has said this about the Orange’s doubters. This has been a wild ride for the Orange as they got back to the Tournament after a self-imposed postseason ban last season.

Boeheim and Syracuse now await the winner of Michigan State and Middle Tennessee State on Sunday. If the Blue Raiders pull off the upset, which is very possible right now, the Orange could be looking at their first Sweet Sixteen appearance since 2013.
