Former Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche certainly hasn’t been doing himself any favors as of late. Ever since he was suspended for the Rebels’ Sugar Bowl game in January after being charged with marijuana possession, he has had questions hanging over his head.
Now, it seems that Nkemdiche suffering the ultimate downfall. Right now, more and more scouts are rating him as a late first round or possibly even a second round pick, Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reports.
Nkemdiche missed two games with a concussion last season, but it was the late-year off-season incident at a hotel in Atlanta that got him suspended for the team’s bowl game. He has dropped like a rock ever since.
Despite him being one of the most talented defensive tackles in the Draft, his character issues are what hurting him. Robert Nkedmiche recorded six sacks throughout his career, which isn’t very impressive against some of the other players in the Draft.
