The Michigan State Spartans suffered quite possibly the biggest upset in NCAA Tournament history when they fell to the Middle State Tennessee Blue Raiders Friday. Head coach Tom Izzo fielded questions about the loss and got pretty upset when he talked about senior guard Denzel Valentine.
You could see the emotion in Izzo’s face when asked about Valentine, who played his final game in his collegiate career.

That is pretty tough to watch. The Spartans were picked by many to make the Final Four and possibly play for a national championship.
Now, Tom Izzo is going to have to rally the troops for next season. For Valentine, he is going to preparing for the NBA very soon.
