Coach K talked to Dillon Brooks about his ‘showing off’ after game

The Oregon Ducks dominated the Duke Blue Devils Thursday night in route to an 82-68 victory to get to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2007. Dillon Brooks was a big reason for their success in the game, but Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewksi didn’t seem to happy with the end of the game.

Brooks shot a three-pointer as the clock was winding down and nailed it. He seemed to dance around excitedly after the shot and was confronted by Grayson Allen.

During the handshake, Krzyzewski stopped him and supposedly talked to him about his showing off.

The video shows their exchange and Brooks seems to be apologetic.

Dillon Brooks said Coach K told him in handshake line, "I'm too good of a player to be showing off at the end." Brooks: "He's right."

Despite Dillon Brooks seeming agreeing with Coach K, the Blue Devils’ coach reportedly denied that he ever said anything of that nature to Brooks. You can’t really blame Brooks for being excited as the Ducks are having one of their best seasons in school history.

However, if Krzyzewski did give him any kind of advice, it would probably be in his best interest to take it.
