Arian Foster visiting Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have been doing all they can to find a running back since losing Lamar Miller to the Houston Texans in free agency. Now, they might just be looking towards a former Texan in Arian Foster to find their next guy.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Foster is scheduled to visit the Dolphins in the coming weeks. This could be huge for the Dolphins as they have failed on multiple occasions to sign a running back.

They lost Miller to the Texans in free agency and then lost a bidding war with the Arizona Cardinals for Chris Johnson and the Denver Broncos for C.J. Anderson. With no clear competitor in sight, the Dolphins may just be able to land the biggest free agent on the market.

In seven seasons with the Texans, Arian Foster rushed for 6,472 yards and 54 touchdowns. In three of those four seasons, Foster only saw action in 18 total games as he missed time to either injury or just being an undrafted free agent in 2009.

In the other four seasons, where he was healthy for most of the year, Foster rushed for at least over 1,200 yards, including winning the NFL rushing title in 2010 with 1,616 yards and 16 touchdowns.

I think it is safe to say that the the Dolphins could be in for a real treat if they are able to land Foster.
