The North Carolina Tar Heels saved the rest of the NCAA Tournament field some embarrassment as they beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to be the only No. 1 seed to advance to the Final Four. During the team celebrating their first appearance since 2009, it seemed that head coach Roy Williams injured himself when cutting down the nets.
Taking the nets down is one of the most exciting times for a college basketball program, but Williams had to have a little work done on his pinky finger when he cut it during the celebration.

I am sure Williams didn’t let that ruin his night though. He was more than likely dancing in the locker room in no time.
Roy Williams will just have to be a little more careful if he and his team cut down the nets on Monday, April 4. They are going for their first national championship since 2009, but Williams will likely have to do it with a bandage on his pinky.
The Tar Heels face off against ACC rival and No. 10 seed Syracuse on Saturday, April 2 for a spot in the national championship game.
