Video: Texas Tech WR Derrick Willies does 60-inch box jump from seated position

The Texas Tech Red Raiders might not be the best team in the Big 12, but they sure are one of the most athletic. Wide receiver Derrick Willies proved that when he pulled off a ridiculous feat of strength and athleticism.

Willies was wearing a ten-pound vest and pulled off a 60-inch box jump. If that was not already impressive enough, he did the jump from a seated position and here is video to prove it.

Yeah, that is pretty insane, I don’t care who you are. If you don’t believe that the Red Raiders could make some noise this summer, you would probably be wrong, especially with an athlete like Willies on the offensive side of the ball.

In 2015, Derrick Willies took a redshirt after transferring from Iowa. I think he is showing that his year off was not wasted by just sitting on the sidelines.
