Brian Windhorst falls asleep during ESPN broadcast

Everyone could use a midday power nap every now and then, even if you are a basketball analyst working for ESPN. NBA analyst Brian Windhorst proved that on Tuesday when he seemed to doze off during a television interview with SportsCenter anchor Cari Champion.

The two were discussing Russell Westbrook and how he is one of the best in the NBA at scoring triple-doubles. You could see Windhorst slowly start to drift off and when Champion was about to blame his no response on technical difficulties, the 38-year-old snapped back to life.

At least he was able to play it off pretty well. Brian Windhorst is usually pretty professional when it comes to television interviews, but even the best of them get exhausted after a big lunch.

Maybe Windhorst should start keeping some 5-Hour Energy shots in his jacket pocket.
