The Miami Dolphins have a good bit of questions left to answer this offseason and they should be looking to do just that in the 2016 NFL Draft. One void they need to fill is at cornerback, so Houston cornerback William Jackson III is coming in for a visit.
National Football Post‘s Aaron Wilson reported that Jackson is visiting the Dolphins today. This could be huge for the team as they could pick up his talent in the early to mid second round.
The Dolphins already landed Byron Maxwell, who came from Philadelphia in a trade that included linebacker Kiko Alonzo. IF they are able to land Jackson, that could provide a much-needed boost to their diminishing pass coverage.
William Jackson III has had a great career with the Cougars knocking down passes and being a ball hawk. He led the country in pass deflections with 28 in 2015 and eight interceptions across his three-year career.
He may not be the top cornerback in the draft, but I am sure the Dolphins would love to have Jackson’s production on the field going forward.
