Kenan Thompson does great impression of David Ortiz on ‘SNL’

Boston Red Sox first baseman David Ortiz, otherwise known as “Big Papi,” is one of the most exciting and charismatic names in the MLB today. His career is coming to an end after the 2016 season and it is sure to be a fun-filled time for everyone surrounding the Red Sox’s organization.

With such a charismatic personality, it is hard for comedians not to want to spoof Big Papi. That is exactly what Kenan Thompson did on “Saturday Night Live” last night when he discussed Ortiz’s post-retirement plans and his impression was on point.

It is no secret that Ortiz loves to eat, so this is the perfect way to portray him. With it being Opening Day, I am sure many fans are turning up in droves to watch Big Papi’s final first game in the MLB.

David Ortiz has spent the last 13 years in his 19-year career with Red Sox. It certainly looks like the fun has already started in his final season.
