WWE superstar John Cena is easily one of the most recognizable faces and names from the company today. Even if you despise the sport of professional wrestling, you have likely heard his name just from the “unexpected John Cena memes” that were popular near the end of last year and into this year.
He joined “Conan” Wednesday night to discuss his new television show “American Grit” that begins showing on FOX in just a week. However, he wasn’t going to get through a conversation without discussing his professional wrestling career.
Conan questioned Cena about how he seems to welcome the boos from the fans at just about any event he goes to. Cena explained that he just loves the excitement and even led the live crowd in a sing-along that creative fans made up a little over a year ago.
This is certainly one of the more popular chants at any WWE event. Despite the hate fans hold for him, however, you couldn’t hear any kind of boos when he made his surprise appearance at Wrestlemania last week.
Maybe the show just did suck that much.
