NFL Draft scout fails miserably at texting Dak Prescott

|

Dak Prescott is one of the most intriguing quarterback prospects in the 2016 NFL Draft. After the top players at the position like Carson Wentz of North Dakota State and Cal’s Jared Goff, Prescott is often mentioned as the best signal-caller in the “second tier.”

One team apparently interested in adding Dak Prescott is the Houston Texans, who tried reaching out to the former Mississippi State star directly.

Unfortunately, they had the wrong number.

You can check out the conversation below:

@MattMoscona So, my friend got a text from the Texans. Bad news is, my friend is not Dak Prescott. pic.twitter.com/igX4QJdZHE

Whoops. That will leave some egg on your face. And let’s hope Dak Prescott gets the message.

The Texans added Brock Osweiler to a big money deal during the offseason, but if the Prescott news is any indication, they will be in the market for some additional depth under center during the draft’s middle rounds.
