Attendance to potentially top 100,000 at Ohio State Spring Game

Last year, Ohio State University set the record for the highest Spring Game attendance. The school sold more than 61,000 tickets for that 2015 game, not even counting the students, who are not required to pay for tickets.

This year, the university is guaranteed to break that record.

In fact, they may even fill the stadium to full capacity at 104,944 seatsSo far, 69,000 tickets have been sold, and there is still time for more tickets to be sold before the event this Saturday.

Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer is really pushing to sell out the stadium for the Spring Game.

“I’m appealing to our fans to come out and support us, for a lot of reasons,” Meyer said at the recent press conference. “There’s nothing like performing in front of 100,000 people. It’s supposed to be great weather, so I’m hoping we get 100,000 people.”
