Last year, Rickie Fowler won The Players’ Championship at Sawgrass in Lake Ponte Vedra, Florida last year in iconic fashion. He sunk a five-foot birdie on the legendary, and usually difficult, 17th hole to win the championship and he is back in Jacksonville this weekend.
He decided to show off his skills during the 2016 Players’ Championship Media Day on Monday. He took to the tee box on 17 and nailed the green while wearing a blindfold.

I don’t think anyone will be calling this man overrated for a good while going forward. If he can show off his skills and win a second straight championship at TPC Sawgrass this weekend, he will start getting the love he deserves.
After shotgunning beers with country music star Dierks Bentley this weekend, I think it is safe to say that Rickie Fowler has become my favorite golfer.
