Nike makes deal with Jared Goff, Paxton Lynch and DeForest Buckner

Shortly after cutting ties with unsigned free agent Johnny Manziel, Nike has added three new players to their “roster”.

As of Thursday, Nike has announced that they will be adding California quarterback Jared Goff, Oregon defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, and Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch to their list of clients. All three players have a high ceiling in the league, and for the “Just Do It” company.

Nike confirmed these moves by making three separate announcements, endorsing each player on their football Twitter page:

All three of the newly signed players are likely to go early on in the draft. Lynch is expected to go in the mid-first round, and is likely to be picked up by a team like the Cleveland Browns.  Goff will likely end up quarterbacking for the Los Angeles Rams, while we can expect Buckner to be a piece of the Jacksonville Jaguars or San Francisco 49’ers defensive line in 2016.
