Under Armour is already one of the top companies for sports apparel and they just seem to keep taking over the college game. They just recently added the Cal Golden Bears to their array of premiere college programs.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell announced that Cal had signed the deal for 10 years, worth $86 million. The deal includes shoes, apparel, and technology for the Golden Bears going forward.

This is yet another huge grab for Under Armour, which now has partnerships with more than 30 collegiate sports programs. That number includes teams like Notre Dame, Auburn and Maryland, for whose football program the company created the iconic state flag uniforms.
The company has created some pretty unique looks in the world of college sports over the last few years and they should be able to do something awesome with the Cal program. This could also mean a boost in recruits for the Golden Bears as a sports apparel company can make a huge difference in a prospective student-athlete’s decision on where to go to college.
