Dolphins could move up to draft Ezekiel Elliott

The Miami Dolphins moved out of the top ten in the 2016 NFL Draft when they traded their pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for cornerback Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonzo. Now, it looks like they could be trying to move back up to take running back Ezekiel Elliott.

CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora insisted that the multiple top ten moves that have already happened in the draft might not be all that is happening. He said that many teams believe the Dolphins might move back up to take Elliott and the Tennessee Titans might move up to take an offensive tackle.

Several teams convinced there will be more deals near top of draft. MIA (Elliott) and TEN (Conklin/Stanley) possibly moving up

The Dolphins desperately need a running back this year to help complete their look on the offense. They lost Lamar Miller to the Houston Texans in free agency so they certainly need to a running back at some point in the draft.

Taking arguably the best running back in the draft in Ezekiel Elliott would be their best option if they have the chance to take him.
