NFL Draft 2016: Alabama C Ryan Kelly could be a first rounder

In the time leading up to the highly anticipated 2016 NFL Draft, many have viewed Alabama center Ryan Kelly as a second round pick. But this is all rapidly changing. It has become more and more clear the Kelly is the best center in the draft.

It may now be more reasonable to believe that Kelly will be picked up in the first round, rather than the second that analysts like NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein previously predicted. Zierlein  also claimed that the center was the fastest rising offensive lineman in the draft.

Now, not only is Kelly viewed by many teams as the best option at his position available, but these teams also recognize that there is a massive gap talent-wise between the 6’5 297 lb senior and the centers that will be available after him in the draft. Any team in need at the center position would be wise to consider spending a first round pick on Ryan Kelly in the 2016 draft.
