NFL Draft 2016: Six Buckeyes to go in first round?

It’s safe to say that the Ohio State football program is putting out a lot of talent this year. They already have the most amount of players in the 2016 NFL Draft with 14, but it looks like they will rule the first round as well.

According to the mock drafts of ESPN draft analysts Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay, 6 Buckeyes will be picked up in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Defensive end Joey Bosa and running back zekiel Elliot will likely go in the top 10 of the first round. The other four talented Buckeyes, offensive tackle Taylor Decker and safety Vonn Bell, linebacker Darren Lee, and cornerback Eli Apple are expected to follow close behind in the lower half of the first round.

The Ohio State Sports Talk twitter page shared their excitement.

Other mock drafts  have as many as eight Buckeyes taken in the first round. That’s a whole one fourth of the opening round of the draft.

Looks like you’ve got a lot to be proud of, Ohio State fans.
