NFL Draft 2016: Chargers select Joey Bosa with No. 3 pick

The San Diego Chargers had plenty of options to choose from with their third overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and it looks like they would be possibly going with an offensive lineman. However, they did something not so surprising when they took Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa.

The Chargers were possibly looking to pick up some protection for quarterback Philip Rivers, however, they decided to bolster their defensive pass rush with the former Buckeye.

This is big for the Chargers after as Joey Bosa is one of the strongest athletes available in the 2016 NFL Draft. During his career, he recorded 51 tackles for loss and 26 sacks.
