Bryce Harper signs largest endorsement deal in MLB history

Washington Nationals outfielder and slugger Bryce Harper is one of the most popular players in the MLB today. He is also about to be one of the richest players in the league as well.

ESPN reported that Harper had signed a 10-year extension with Under Armour, whom he has been with since 2011. The terms of the deal will not be disclosed, but it is said to be the largest endorsement deal for a single player in MLB history.

The company will begin selling Harper’s custom cleat, the Under Armour Harper One, later this year. He has been one of the best players in the MLB since being the first overall pick of the 2011 MLB Draft.

With Bryce Harper now locked up for the next decade, Under Armour is set to become the biggest sports apparel and equipment company in the world. They already have players like Steph Curry, Cam Newton and Jordan Spieth on their payroll and certainly won’t stop there.
