Video: Jared Nickens, Jaylen Brantley do Running Man Challenge on ‘Ellen’

The Running Man Challenge is the latest dance craze to sweep the nation, most notably in the world of collegiate sports. You know it is a big deal when it is getting featured on Ellen DeGeneres’s show, which is exactly what Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley, the two behind the popularity of the craze, did on Monday.

Kevin Vincent and Jeremiah Hall, two young teenagers from Westside Hills, New Jersey, first made up the dance and posted their video to Instagram.

Nickens and Brantley, a pair of Maryland basketball players, took the dance and ran with it, helping make it what it is today.

They appeared on “Ellen” Monday after basically telling her to help them get the credit where credit is deserved. They were surprised by the Terrapins and ended up doing the dance they made famous.

The Running Man Challenge is not going anywhere for some time and, who knows, it could end up being even bigger than the Dab or even the Whip and Nae-Nae.
