Video: Raptors mascot crashes city council meeting, rubs bald head

The Toronto Raptors won their first playoff series since 2001 with a Game 7 win over the Indiana Pacers. They will now try to make team history by winning a second series, which begins later on tonight against the Miami Heat.

They got a little encouragement from city council and Mayor John Tory at a meeting earlier Tuesday morning. What Tory did not expect was the Raptors mascot crashing the party and entertaining everyone and even making the mayor laugh by rubbing a bald guy’s head.

Doing a handstand like that is certainly impressive and probably pretty tough to do. Let’s hope that everyone in attendance is tuned into the game tonight.

The Raptors will need all their fans’ support if they want to advance to the Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history. They certainly have a good chance of doing something big this year.

Game 1 begins at 8 p.m. EST in Toronto and will be broadcast on TNT.
