Devonta Freeman stops jog to help neighbor with yard work

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is a very likeable guy. It is really hard to hate a guy like him, who is known to be one of the most charitable players in the NFL. He proved that on Tuesday during a run through his neighborhood.

Freeman was reportedly on a run when he decided to stop and help a neighbor’s grandmother with some yardwork when he noticed she was struggling to unload the lawnmower. He then took a picture with the neighbor, who clearly was pleased by the kind gesture from the NFL star.

Not only is it great that Freeman stopped by to help, he actually did not initially say who he was. However, the neighbor quickly realized that he was the former FSU and current Falcons star.

Devonta Freeman took the NFL by storm last year and has become an integral piece of the Falcons’ offense. If he continues to do things like this, it won’t be too long before he is the most-liked guy in the league and will likely be sticking around Atlanta for a long time.
