Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has run into a string of trouble as of late and his most recent bout with the law has landed him in hot water. Manziel was indicted by a Texas grand jury on assault charges filed by ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley, stemming from an incident back in January.
On Wednesday, the former Heisman Trophy winner has turned himself in to Texas authorities. He was reportedly booked on misdemeanor assault charges and later released.

Manziel was released on $1,500 bond and will appear before a court on Thursday for arraignment. If he is convicted of the alleged assault on Crowley, he faces up to one year in jail.
This is certainly going to be an interesting story to follow as more information becomes available.
