Ezekiel Elliott receives advice from former Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray

Former Ohio State Buckeyes star Ezekiel Elliot is one of the favorites to win the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, thanks to the situation he finds himself in behind one of the best offensive lines in the league.

But if Elliott is going to become a major star in Dallas, he will need to handle himself like a pro on and off the field.

Luckily for Elliott, he received some advice from a man who has been where he one day hopes to go. Former Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray led the NFL in rushing two seasons ago, before fading away in Philadelphia. Murray was the bell cow back for Dallas and he knows what it takes to find success in that town.

When speaking with Elliott, Murray’s biggest key to success and the one piece of advice that stuck out was “follow everything Jason Witten does.”

Let’s hope Elliott takes Murray’s advice.

Because if he can come anywhere close to the 1,845 yards and 18 touchdowns that Murray produced during the 2014 season, the Cowboys will be very satisfied with their No. 4 overall pick.
