The Houston Cougars rolled through the 2015 college football season, going 13-1 with their one loss being a three-point upset against Connecticut. They went on to win the AAC championship and manhandled the Florida State Seminoles in the Peach Bowl.
The team is looking to be just as good going into the 2016 season, but before they turn their full attention to the fall, they had to celebrate the Peach Bowl one more time.
The team received their championship rings on Saturday, which lived up to head coach Tom Herman’s claim of him getting “big rings.”

The Houston Cougars will certainly use their big win in the bowl game as motivation to dominate in 2016. With senior quarterback Greg Ward Jr. at the helm for one more year, this team is in a very good position.
If they want to get things going early, they can do so with their season opener. They face off against Oklahoma at NRG Stadium in Houston.
