Jared Goff, Ezekiel Elliott lead NFL Rookie of the Year odds

With the start of the 2016-17 NFL regular season months away, oddsmakers are analyzing players and teams across the league to see how everyone will stack up. When it comes to this year’s rookie class, it is two top five picks who lead the way.

As you would expect, the first quarterback selected, Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams, is favored to bring home NFL Rookie of the Year honors with 2-to-1 odds.

After Goff, Jerry Jones’ new weapon, Ezekiel Elliott, checks in with 5-to-2.

It should be no surprise that two of the first five picks selected this year are expected to burst onto the scene and make an immediate impact, but third place odds go to a certain second-round pick, Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry (7-to-1), who will be splitting carries with former NFL rushing champion DeMarco Murray in Tennessee.

Who do you think will bring home this year’s Rookie of the Year award? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts and check out the top ten favorites to win the award, per Bovada.lv.
