Laremy Tunsil ‘not worried’ about others’ opinions

Miami Dolphins’ offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil had an inauspicious start to his career and it came before his name was even called at the 2016 NFL Draft. A video that showed him smoking marijuana from a gas mask was posted to his Twitter just minutes before the first round began last week.

He has since claimed that his account was hacked and that the video was a few years old. However, it caused him to fall from a surefire top ten pick to the Dolphins at No. 13.

His weird night didn’t stop there, however, when he openly admitted to taking money from one of his coaches at Ole Miss. Despite, all this, Tunsil, who has signed a contract with the team already, doesn’t want to let everything around him be a distraction.

I’m not worried about that,” Tunsil told the Miami Herald in reference to a question about the video and others’ opinions about him. “Everybody got their own opinions. I’m the only one who knows what kind of true character I am. That’s for me to prove to everybody.”

Laremy Tunsil just seems excited to get his career started, like the other 300-plus players that are hoping to become members of NFL rosters soon. It is probably best for him not to be concerned with what others say about him going forward.
