Video: Cal OL Semisi Uluave plays guitar, sings

When you think of college football players, you usually don’t think of them being much other than players on the field. However, Cal offensive lineman Semisi Uluave decided to show off his musical talents at the school’s awards ceremony last week.

The sophomore was attending the ceremony that handed out awards for the best athletic performances over the last year, where Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff won Male Athlete of the Year. He gave his rendition of Passion’s “Lemonade,” which the singer played on his ukulele.

The crowd seemed stunned at Uluave’s singing voice and guitar-playing abilities. It is not very often that a six-foot-five, 330-poumd offensive lineman can serenade someone like this.

It certainly looks like Semisi Uluave is going to have no problems making the ladies swoon during his last two years of college. Let’s just hope he plays as good as he sings.
