Knowshon Moreno ’80-percent done’ with football?

The Denver Broncos selected running back Knowshon Moreno out of Georgia in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. However, he was out of Denver after the 2013 season and has not played a major role since that year, where he rushed for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns.

It looks like his short career in the NFL could be coming to an official end very soon.

According to Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver, Moreno is just about done with playing football after tearing his ACL in 2014, his only season with the Miami Dolphins.

“His knees needed a full year off last year to regenerate. He’ll be 29 in July and he didn’t have good speed to begin with. Mentally, Knowshon is 80 percent done, but he’s staying in great shape just in case.”

During his seven-year career in the league, Knowshon Moreno rushed for just over 3,600 yards and 27 touchdowns and caught 158 passes for over 1,400 yards and nine touchdowns.
