Former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback turned wide receiver Braxton Miller was selected by the Houston Texans in the third-round of the 2016 NFL Draft. While he may be trying to familiarize himself in a new state, he got to see a familiar face on Saturday night.
Miller was attending a charity softball event hosted by his new teammate, J.J. Watt, when he saw his former Ohio State offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Tom Herman, who is now head coach of the Houston Cougars.
When the two men came face-to-face, they welcomed each other with a huge embrace.
The video was captured on social media:
Now that Herman and Miller are both Houston residents, it will be cool to see how close they keep their relationship. As Miller transitions to the pros, it could be great to have someone like Herman to serve as a mentor along the way.
