Florida woman bit by shark, goes to hospital with shark still attached to arm

There is something about Florida that seems to bring out the crazies, but this time the human involved in this story is not the one at fault.

Over the weekend in Boca Raton, Florida, a two-foot-long baby nurse shark bit a 23-year-old woman and would not let go. When emergency rescue services responded to a 911 call, they arrived on the scene to see the woman sitting on the beach with the shark still attached.

Eventually, the woman was transported to Boca Raton Regional Hospital with the shark remaining on her arm.

Luckily, the shark was finally removed from her arm.

Judging by the photos, the woman who survived the shark attack is tougher than your average person. I mean, who else gets bitten by a shark, stares at the shark and then sits to wait for emergency responders? I would have passed out immediately.
