The North Carolina State Wolfpack could be in for one of the most exciting 2016-17 basketball seasons thanks to an impressive recruiting classes this year. Lucky for the Wolfpack, that class just got stronger with the addition of Turkish center Omer Yurtseven, a very intriguing prospect.
Yurtseven has dominated the European circuit the last few years, with his most impressive outing being an unbelievable 91 points in a U-18 game on Sunday. It didn’t take long for teams take a chance on him and Mark Gottfried’s club was lucky enough to land him on Monday.
The Wolfpack have already signed five-star point guard Dennis Smith Jr. and Yurtseven gives the team another five-star player.
Yurtseven also had offers from Utah and Syracuse.
After missing the 2016 NCAA Tournament, the Wolfpack seem poised to have a good run in the 2016-17 season.
